FAQs
The short answers.
What are your hours?
Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM. We're closed Sunday.
Where are you?
1701 Airline Road, Suite 101, Corpus Christi, TX 78412. Afram's Jewelers and Modern Pawn & Guns are in the same building.
Do I need an appointment?
No, not to buy, sell or have a few coins looked at. For a large collection, call first.
What do you buy?
Coins, graded coins, gold and silver bullion, paper money, whole collections and estates, and gold and silver jewelry and scrap. See buying and selling coins.
How do you decide what to offer?
On what the piece is, its condition and the current market. We look it up with you at the counter.
Do you pay on the spot?
During most deals, yes.
Do I have to sell once you make an offer?
No. Every quote is no obligation.
What do I need to bring to sell?
The items and a current driver's license or state ID. Texas law requires us to record purchases of gold and silver jewelry and scrap.
What is my coin worth?
Bring it in or text photos of both sides. See coin appraisals.
Should I clean my coins first?
No. Cleaning a coin can take away most of its value. Bring it in as it is.
Is my coin worth grading?
Ask us. Most coins aren't, and some are. See PCGS and NGC grading.
Will you come to my house?
For larger estates, yes. See collections and estates.
Can you find a coin I'm looking for?
Usually. See coin brokerage.
How can I pay?
Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.
Can I text you?
Yes. Text (361) 334-4926 with a question or photos of both sides of a coin.
